Kamal inspired me a lot - Lakshmi Ramakrishnan

Every filmmaker is inspired by someone. For me Kamal Haasan is source of energy and inspiration, says actress Lakshmi Ramakrishnan, who has ventured to direct a movie titled Aragonam. 'It was the screenplay workshop conducted by Kamal sir that motivated me to get into direction. I profusely thank Kamalji and I will soon arrange a special screening of my film for the legend,' she says. 'The family story revolves around the search for a missing mother (played by Viji) by a 17-year-old boy and his sister. Veeresh and Jai Quehaeni debut in the flick. Going by the name and the promos, people think it is an art-house film with dark shades. But it is a commercial entertainer', she adds.
